Thank you for sharing your story. I happened upon your site, while searching for a recipe. You are an inspiration. I am working on my “new leaf” right now. My highest weight was 341, and I had gastric bypass in April ’08. Two and a half years, and a new baby later, I am now at 205, but wanting to truly treat my body much better. I have quit drinking, and have pretty much eradicated meat and most dairy from my life. I love it! I’m having a harder time with my family though. My husband grew up on a dairy farm, and we receive free beef from his parents. I still make food for him, but have been struggling with his skepticism. Argh! Baby steps… I’ll continue to follow your site…it’s great!
